Many of our customers require the accurate counting of people to determine foot fall or help with marketing information. It was however unusual to be asked to ensure the comfort and safety of people, through counting, but on the new Kew Gardens tree top walk way this is exactly what was required.

For the comfort of all visitors the ideal number of visitors, at any one time, needs to be maintained to ensure they all get the very best experience. With this is mind More Control modified their standard people counting system to determine the number of people in the area and report this both locally, on a message display board, and globally via an intranet and internet connection.

Through the introduction of alarm and warning levels along with the standard features of through put distribution and total number counting we were able to provide a solution within a very tight time scale.

By utilising the skills of our hardware design department and software development department we were able to provide a turn key solution to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all the visitors to the Kew Gardens tree top walk way.
